The factory has a capacity of over 40 million liters of milk per year. It is a large scale factory in Vietnam at that time with a total investment of over 100 billion VND. The Hanoi Dairy Processing Plant was granted the Investment Privilege Certificate No. 1746 / CNTRDDT by the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc Province on May 9, 2002.

On 04/04/2002, Hanoi Dairy Joint Stock Company officially signed the contract of purchase of synchronous and modern milk processing equipment of Tetra Pak Group - Sweden. After more than a year of construction, equipment installation and testing, the factory was completed and officially put into operation.

In October 2004, Hanoi Milk Processing Factory achieved the output of 100 million products.
