Therefore, according to Khanh Hoa Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in the plan to implement the Organic Agriculture Development Scheme in the 2021-2030 period, the province strives for an organic rice production area of about 500 hectares by 2025. and about 1,000 ha by 2030; the organic legume and vegetable area will have an area of about 50 hectares by 2025 and about 100 hectares by 2030; the organic fruit tree production area will reach 500 ha by 2025 and increase by 1,000 ha by 2030.

According to Mr. Hung, in order to develop organic agricultural production areas, Khanh Hoa province will prioritize areas with favorable soil and climate conditions for each object of crops and livestock for organic production. At the same time, priority should be given to selecting crops and livestock that are well adapted to soil conditions, resistant to pests and diseases, and have a market for organic products. From there, forming a production area of indigenous, typical products with the potential to build trademarks and geographical indications.
