Over the years, durians of Xuan Dinh Agricultural Trade and Service Cooperative have entered many supermarket systems across the country, and are purchased and exported to China by major focal points in Long Khanh City (Dong Nai). The country crosses the borderline.

In the two years 2020 and 2021, despite being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, durian products of farmers in Long Khanh, Xuan Loc ... can still be sold, but the price is lower and selling slower due to the lack of export output. difficulties, sometimes congested, leading to congestion of goods in businesses.

Therefore, the official export of Vietnamese durians to China is opening up greater opportunities for durians in Long Khanh, Xuan Loc as well as in other districts of Dong Nai province.

According to Ms. Nga, when hearing the news that Vietnamese durian will be officially exported to China, the durian growing cooperative members of Xuan Dinh Agricultural Service Trading Cooperative were very excited.

However, farmers also expressed concern that how to implement the durian production process to ensure food safety, quality, and be more strict.

Because when Vietnamese durian is exported to China through official channels, it must always ensure quality and food safety. If a few households do not strictly follow the production process, it is likely to cause great harm to the cooperative and the export purchasing enterprise.

Therefore, it is necessary to have coordination between state agencies, enterprises, cooperatives, etc. in monitoring the planting area to ensure that durian products purchased and exported by enterprises meet all requirements. food safety and quality standards.

The linkage to form the value chain is also an important factor to bring durian official to China in a stable and sustainable manner. Ms. Nga said that cooperatives alone cannot bring durian fruit to the official channel, but cooperatives must coordinate with businesses, thereby ensuring that each farmer household produces the right product. of the Chinese market.

Ms. Nga affirmed that if companies associate with cooperatives to produce durian according to standard procedures, exporting to China through official channels will further improve production and business efficiency for farmers, cooperatives and farmers. cooperatives as well as businesses.
