On the evening of April 14, in Hanoi, Ha Tinh Department of Industry and Trade organized the launch of Namaika instant squid products. The launch also had the presence of more than 50 famous chefs of famous hotels and restaurants of the capital. These chefs belong to the Royal Chefs Association of Vietnam.
Namaika instant squid products are manufactured on technological lines and standards of Japan. After being carefully inspected and screened, the fresh squid will be processed and controlled for quality at Shatico factory that meets the standards of HACCP management system and ISO 22000 standard.
Accordingly, the production process of Namaika instant squid is carried out in an absolutely sterile environment. The workers are disinfected clean, wear protective gear, wade through disinfected water before entering the production plant. All production equipment is also disinfected and aseptic to ensure food safety and hygiene.
Speaking at the launch event, Mr. Vo Ta Nghia, Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Department of Industry and Trade said: “Ha Tinh is a province endowed with nature, with rich marine resources with many endemic seafoods. high economic value. In particular, Vung Ang squid for export has been very famous in the high-end market of Japan. Ha Tinh sea is ideal in terms of salinity, so the squid in this sea have a very specific flavor: soft, bold meat, sweet and fresh aftertaste, which is considered the best throughout the central coast of Vietnam. Besides, squid is also a seafood with high nutritional value, containing many essential minerals for the body such as iron, phosphorus, potassium and calcium, very good for the heart, preventing arthritis.
Mr. Nghia also added: "Despite the great impact and influence of the Covid-19 pandemic, Namaika Ha Tinh instant squid is still exported to Japan by Wineco Vietnam Joint Stock Company and maintained well. market share in this high-end and most demanding seafood market. Ha Tinh province is also supporting Wineco to boost sales in the domestic market and expand production to export to new international markets.
Namaika instant squid currently has 4 main products including: instant cut squid; Instant squid head; Instant squid sushidane and instant squid sugata. The product can be used immediately without processing, rice rolls, served with mustard, pink ginger, seaweed. Namaika instant squid is processed by Japanese technology, absolutely no preservatives are used. Applying IQF deep freezing technology, whereby, after going through the preliminary processing and refining stages, the ink is deep frozen at -46 degrees Celsius to help kill bacteria completely.
Fast freezing also helps the squid not to lose water and not break the texture. The product is packaged and vacuumed to help Namaika instant squid have a storage time of up to 24 months with a storage temperature of -18 degrees Celsius - 22 degrees Celsius.
