Rubber prices are often directly proportional to the price of oil in the world market. Therefore, if oil prices continue to decline, the possibility that rubber  prices could drop to 20 million VND/ ton will happen in the near future.

In 2015, Vietnam exported 135.000 tons of pepper, crossed 1,26 billion USD. These numbers are 13% lower in volume and 5% higher in value compared to those in 2014. It is also the highest turnover ever for Vietnam pepper exports. The average export price of pepper reached 9.335 USD/tone and saw a 21,5 % increase compared to the same period in 2014.

On 12/31/2015, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) officially approved brackish water shrimp planning in the Mekong River Delta (MRD) until 2020, 2030. It is considered as the base for the whole region shrimp farming to generate maximum production value, efficiency and sustainability.
