According to local people, this summer-autumn crop is very harsh, raining a lot and at the wrong time. Rain to nourish the tree is less, but it destroys the tree a lot. Even so, all 3 rice varieties VNR10, VNR20 and Huong Chau 6 were still very resistant, did not fall, the rice bloomed evenly, the seeds were firm, and the yield exceeded expectations.

Mr. Dinh Tan Can, Deputy Director of Hoa Tay Agricultural Cooperative (Tinh Hoa commune) said that, in recent years, people in the commune often use HT1 variety. However, over a long period of time, the variety has degraded and the yield is no longer as before, the tree also weakens and falls often. Therefore, the cooperative is very eager to find good substitutes.

“Not every seed can be used, but it must be tested to see if it is suitable for the local soil. Particularly, 3 varieties of Vinaseed performed in this summer-autumn crop model, which I find very suitable, giving good yield. Particularly, VNR20 variety is expected to yield up to about 70-80 quintals/ha. Therefore, people want these varieties to continue to be implemented in the coming winter-spring crop to demonstrate their adaptability in both crops of the year," Mr. Can said.

Nguyen Van Chinh, Director of Vinaseed Quang Nam, said that in the summer-autumn crop of 2022, the company deployed a demonstration model of varieties VNR10, VNR20 and Huong Chau 6 with an area of 15ha in 7 districts, towns, city.
